Dalter, Maleap, and Daranchi have been chosen as the skiing peaks, offering views of the surrounding landscapes, including the majestic K2.
The film navigates parallel narratives, showcasing the journey of the athlete who, unfortunately, couldn’t ski down the 6000-meter peak. On one side, we witness his transformation as he channels his expertise and experience into training Manal, the spirited 14-year-old with dreams of becoming a skilled ski athlete.
As the athlete imparts his knowledge and skills to Manal, the film seamlessly weaves these mentoring sessions with scenes of actual skiing. This parallel structure allows the audience to witness both the theoretical aspects of training, conveyed through the athlete’s guidance, and the practical application of those lessons in the real skiing moments.
The juxtaposition of the athlete’s struggle with his own setbacks and the uplifting moments of Manal’s progress creates a powerful narrative dynamic. The film uses this parallel storytelling technique to highlight the transformative power of mentorship, resilience in the face of personal challenges, and the joy that comes from pursuing one’s passion in the context of skiing.
